St.George:

This parish of approx. 32.000 people occupies the southern end of the island. It is the capital of Grenada. St. George's, is known as the most picturesque city in the Caribbean. Its horseshoe-shaped harbour is surrounded by a pastel colors of warehouses and it is not uncommon to see red-tiled roofs on traditional shops and homes. It is also the home of the world famous Grand Anse Beach. The island airport, which is called Point Saline International Airport is also located in the parish of Saint George.

St. David:

The parish of St,David is on the southeastern end of the island, and is home to a population of approx. 11.000

St.Andrew:

The parish with the longest coastline has a population of approx. 23.000

St.Patrick:

The most northerly parish in Grenada, has a population of about 10,000

St.Mark:

The smallest parish, with about 3,800 people who live mainly by fishing and working on the surrounding estates.

St.John:

Located on the west coast of Grenada, adjoining the parish of St.Mark to the North, St.George to the south and St.Andrew to the east. 8,700 people living here.
