This parish of approx. 32.000 people occupies the southern end of the island.
It is the capital of Grenada. St. George's, is known as the most picturesque city in the
Caribbean. Its horseshoe-shaped harbour is surrounded by a pastel colors of warehouses and it
is not uncommon to see red-tiled roofs on traditional shops and homes. It is also the home of the world famous Grand Anse Beach. The island airport, which is called Point Saline International Airport is also located in the parish of Saint George.
Located on the west coast of Grenada, adjoining the parish of St.Mark to the North, St.George to the south and St.Andrew to the east. 8,700 people living here.
