St. Patrick's - Grenada
A small nature retreat with strong eco-friendly orientation.
This property is a business which was conceived, designed, and has been run for over eleven years by the original owners.
Because of the unity of the entire concept, including a strong cost-saving component, the business has been improving continuously, with increased bookings from year to year.
The property is a collection of four buildings set into a tropical hillside. Eight units (four 'cottages',two 'small cottages',and two 'rooms') each have balcony views to the ocean and Grenadine chain of islands. At the top of the slope is the on site restaurant. Surroundings are lush, the sounds of the waves, tree frogs, birds, and breeze serve as background music. Each building is supplied with both rain water and mains water, as well as solar electricity for lights and fans and mains electricity for fridges and reading lamps.
On the property, which is 25,150 square feet, we grow various herbs and vegetables and there are many different fruit trees including bananas, coconut, carambola, cherry, soursop, sea grape, sugar apple and others. As well there are passion fruit and waterlemon vines.
In short, the business is well established in the market, can be taken over and run without interruption, but also has room for development if the future owner would like to move towards a more upscale market.
